2023 homegrown submissions - Enter Here

Please include a downloadable submission link in the “message” section of the form whether to a YouTube, or Vimeo video, Dropbox or Drive link, or any additional social media platform. Viewable links are accepted, and a downloadable link or file can be accepted if that submission makes the cut. All submissions should be .mov or .mp4, with attention to the level of sound.

Please include the edit title, names of filmmakers and athletes and location of production. We only have space for 2 or 3 total on the posters.

AMATEUR: 1 - 3 minute edits The amateur category exists so people can have their first big screen debut! The rougher edited more organic stories have been some of our hit films in the past few years. This is also a good place to submit personal edits, trip recaps, epic drone videos, best lines, or any organic content you’ve captured and want to share. Cell phone and vertical films acceptable!

PROFESSIONAL 3-10 minutes: The pro category is a chance to share (usually longer and more developed story lines/scenes/locations/trips) what you have been part of from a filming, production, editing, or starred (cameos welcome) in whether it was fully or partial corporately funded.

Please email Hayden Gilmore, haydeng35@gmail.com, if the submission page does not work for ya.

***PLEASE NOTE*** The email address, Spencer@homegrownfilmfestival.org, is no longer active!

We have two categories, Am and Pro. There will be an hour of each played on screen at the show. Unfortunately not all films will make the cut, we usually receive 3.5 hours of content for a two hour show.
